STRANGE STRAYS...So the strangest thing just happened... if you read the blog this weekend you will know that we took in a stray cat that just walked into our office (really, walked right on in) on Friday and now, tonight, as in right now! a new cat just walked into the house... how bizarre... how strange... i feel like the crazy cat lady! What is going on?? I feel like this is some sort of sign... what do you make of this?

things have certainly been weird lately...

Cats are so smart! They really have a great feel for people. They must just realize you are a good person.

You must cook well, and the delicious smell of kitchen goodies draws them in...

Well, that or the word is out on the street and the cats are savvy!!

10 bucks says that Pantoulfe is spreading the word around the neighbourhood about the great new family that she's adopted! LOL!

You're just a kittie magnet! :) My cat Callie hangs out with two of my neighbors (that I know of) regularly. My next door neighbor says he finds her in the house all the time, even at night sometimes, and is always amazed that she manages to sneak when his door is open, undetected. My neighbors across the street, after living her for 15 years (and my cat for 14) "just realized" she is my cat. They are an older couple and have no pets, but the woman tells me her husband loves my cat and lets her in everyday "for a visit." Now I know why she's so fat! :) -- although she swears they don't feed her (uh huh...). I think she has taken to visiting my neighbors more so the last three years as that coincides with the arrival of the newest addition to my family -- my little Chihuahua, Chihoo. I think Chihoo just drives her crazy with endless excitement and now that Callie has reached her golden years, she searches for quieter and calmer spaces to hang out. She's still here everyday, especially for her two meals, sleeps in with me most nights -- probably once Brad kicks her out. She just comes knockin on the door (scratches really, but it rattles my door and makes a knocking sound) until I let her in. She doesn't wear a tag, as when she was younger, she was always up in the trees or walking fences and I was always afraid she would hang herself. Someone might think she was a stray though, I suppose.

Hi
Just over from your etsy shop and pleasantly suprised by the post subject. I agree with the above Sarah, there's a whole cat family ready to move in, cousin by cousin. I'll definitelybe back to see what happens next.

I found my second stray (now a god of the couch and fancy feast) as a 3 week old kitten, lying under the biggest horse at our farm. Poor Bud (the horse) must have thought that he fell from heaven (actually the hayloft) and was afraid to move:) Always more of a dog person than a cat person, I don't understand how these 2 stray farm cats, have taken over my house...and neither does my dog:)
Great blog and I love your shop!
